Our Client Services Manager will make a home visit to discuss with you your support and personal care needs. Together a Care Plan will be created that is tailored to your individual needs, allowing for as much independence as possible while maintaining your safety.

You will be given a choice of gender before we allocate Healthcare Assistants to your package of care. Your welcome pack will list the names of the Healthcare Assistants that have been allocated to your care. We will strive to maintain continuity of care.

We will ask you if you would like your Healthcare Assistants to wear face masks during your care visit, we will supply adequate face masks so your Healthcare Assistant can use a new clean mask during each care visit. Hands will be washed before donning gloves and between each task, before meal prep, medication and personal care. PPE is supplied to all staff by our office.

Risk Assessment

Our Client Services Manager will risk assess support and personal care tasks. Healthcare Assistants will also risk assess during care visit, which will include checking maintenance dates on equipment. We do this to keep you and our Healthcare Assistants as safe as possible. Any personal equipment that is to be used during a care visit will be risk assessed.

Healthcare Assistants will always ask for consent before performing any task assigned to your care plan. Whether that be bathing, personal hygiene, providing nutrition and hydration, medication or just sitting and chatting with you. You have the right to refuse any/all support, personal care or medication. Refusals are reported to the office to ensure your health and wellbeing is not adversely affected.
